Utah Valley K9 Dash
Don’t leave your best friend and favorite running buddy out of the fun! The Utah Valley K9 Dash is a 5K you and your canine friend can run together. The race is open to all participants (with or without dogs) and it’s a great way to warm up for longer races or to just have a fun run with your puppy pal.
Our 5K takes a nice even course, making a big loop and starting and ending at 636 Independence Avenue. The course will partially follow the beautiful Provo River, a favorite running spot for many Provo residents. The 5K will take place the evening before all of the other races, making it a nice warm up for longer races that you may have chosen to participate in.
Dogs must remain on leashes throughout the whole race for the safety of the runners and the dogs. This is both a city ordinance and a requirement for participation in the race. All dogs are also required to have had their rabies shot before participating in the race. We want to provide a fun environment that is both exciting and safe for all of the participants.
All participants will receive t-shirts, and all finishers will receive medals. And we didn’t forget about Fido- every dog that completes the race will get a celebratory dog tag. Register today, as the tickets will get more expensive the closer it gets to race day. You and your dog will love the bonding opportunity that will come with this exciting and relaxing run.
