We are looking forward to and making preparations for an in-person race in 2021. We believe the upcoming availability of vaccines gives better confidence and allowance for a regular format race.
While some reports indicate that it may take beyond June for every citizen to receive a vaccine, we have been told by the CDC that the goal behind quarantines and restrictions is to avoid overburdening our hospitals. We believe we will naturally see a reduction in the hospitalizations as more and more people in the high-risk categories are given the vaccine.

A scenically beautiful course that offers a great combination of gratification and challenge, the Ogden Marathon has won acclaim from the running community and event organizers alike for years. Its popularity is owed both to the challenging and diverse nature of the course itself as well as the area’s stunning and verdant scenery. Among its many accolades, the race was voted “5th Best Marathon in the Country for Beginning Marathon Runners” by Shape.com in March 2015 as well as “One of the Best Courses in America for First-Time Marathon Runners” by Runners World in January 2012 and “one of the Top Ten Marathons in the World” by the same periodical in January 2011.
Running through the landmarks of Salt Lake City is something you need to do to believe it is worth it. Running through the Wasatch Mountains and finishing victoriously at the finish line in the City Hall building is just a perk of the race itself. There are a lot of different races that you can do as part of the Salt Lake City Marathon, and they all come with different fees and are held twice a year.
The Provo City Half Marathon is a fast-paced, scenic point-to-point half marathon that is held annually taking runners from South Fork Park in Provo Canyon to University Avenue and Center Street in Downtown Provo. Taking place in May each year, it’s a race that shows off some of the best of the gorgeous Provo Canyon and finishes up with an excellent finish line party. This USATF certified run also offers a 5K run and a kid’s run on the same day, so everyone can get involved in the action, not to mention the celebrations
The Heber Half Marathon is a Run for Autism. Alongside the half marathon, there is a 5k run and a half mile All Abilities Run. Runtastic and Kids On The Move have teamed up to put on a fantastic race, taking place in June each year. The run takes place on a downhill slope through the Heber Valley, Utah, and the incline starts at 8998’ and ends at 5732’, so it’s a very fast downhill course that’s fun for the whole family.
The Drop 13 Half Marathon is held each year on June 13th in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. The marathon starts just below the Solitude Ski Resort and finishes in town at the Old Mill Shopping Centre. The course of the run is entirely downhill with a 3,000 feet decline measuring 13.1 miles precisely from start to finish. The course does not have a steep decline but is consistent and fairly gradual, allowing a brisk and pleasurable run.
