Utah Grand Slam

Utah Grand Slam

The Utah Grand Slam is a yearly competition involving four marathons across the state. It’s a fun, high impact race series for marathoners who are ready for a fully packed season, and we’re excited to be a part of it. It includes the Ogden Marathon, the Utah Valley Marathon, the Deseret News Marathon, and the St. George Marathon. These are all very sought after marathons and will take you on an exciting tour of some of the highlights of our great state through their courses.

There will be trophies awarded for the top 3 finishers of each age division, and the divisions are grouped off by decade. If you want to compete for these awards, you must run in all four listed races. However, if you must miss any of the four, you may substitute one race for a race that you get approved by the Wasatch Running Center. Register as soon as possible for all four of these races, because there will be no refunds if you fail to sign up for a race before it sells out!

We’re so happy to be a part of this competition again this year, and we think you’ll love the marathon that we have prepared for you. The Utah Valley Marathon is everything you want in a marathon- it’s fast-paced, takes place on a gorgeous course, and it is well outfitted with aid stations and bathrooms so that you have everything you need to run your very best! We think you’ll love our marathon so much that you’ll be back again next year for another round.

If you’re already planning on running some of the included races, or if you’re looking to step up your running game this year, we highly recommend taking on this incredibly satisfying challenge. But if you are interested, you’d better hurry- the first race takes place the 21st of May. Register for the Utah Grand Slam here, and then start registering for the races before it’s too late!
