Where does the 10K start? Where does it finish?
The 10K starts in front of Canyon Crest Elementary school in Provo and finishes at the intersection of University Avenue and Center Street in front of the Utah County Courthouse.
Are the miles marked?
Yes. We will have signs at each mile.
Where is packet pick-up, and when?
Packet pick-up will be inside the Utah Valley Convention Center (220 W Center St., Provo) from 10 A.M. to 9 P.M. on Friday, June 7, 2013.
Is the course chip timed?
Yes. Runners will be timed with chips located on the back side of the bib numbers. It is required that your bib number remain on the front side of your shirt (preferably chest high), so that the antennas will read your chip properly. Please do not alter or fold your bib number in any way, so that your chip will be read. At the end of the race you may keep your timing chip.
Are there any discounts to hotels for runners?
Yes. Several hotels, both in Provo and Wasatch County, have agreed to accommodate our runners at a discounted rate. Click here for details.
Do all runners receive shirts?
We will have a custom technical performance shirt for each participant that will be given to you at the fitness expo.
Where does the bus pick me up and where does it drop me off?
Runners will park near the starting line, and upon completion of the race may ride a shuttle bus back to Canyon Crest Elementary school. The bus will pick runners up just south east of the finish line, and take you back to your car at the starting area. Make sure that you get on the right bus (there will be shuttle buses taking half marathon participants back to the Provo Towne Centre).
